OS Launcher is built to personalize your home screen. We do not sell your personal data. This policy explains exactly what the app accesses, why, and the limited data shared with our advertising and store partners.

1 Overview

OS Launcher – Themes & Icons ("the app", "we", "us") is a home-screen launcher developed by Alone Aura. This policy describes what information the app accesses and how it is handled. Most of your customization data stays on your device; a limited set of data is processed by third-party services for ads and purchases, as described below.

2 Information Stored on Your Device

The following is stored locally on your device only and is not transmitted to us:

  • Your selected theme, wallpaper, and icon pack
  • Home screen layout, folders, and widget arrangement
  • Your app preferences and settings
  • The list of apps installed on your device (read locally so the launcher can display and organize your app icons; this list is not uploaded to our servers)

3 Information Shared With Third Parties

To keep the app free, we use third-party services that may collect limited data, such as a device advertising identifier, approximate location, IP address, and app-usage signals, in accordance with their own privacy policies:

  • Advertising — to show ads (e.g., Google AdMob)
  • Payments — Google Play Billing processes in-app purchases; we do not receive or store your payment card details
  • Analytics & crash reporting — to understand app stability and improve features

Replace the services above with the exact SDKs your build uses, and link their policies. Your Data Safety form in Play Console must match this section.

4 Permissions We Request

  • Query installed apps — required for a launcher to list and launch your apps
  • Set as default launcher — to act as your home screen
  • Storage / photos (optional) — only if you choose a custom wallpaper from your gallery
  • Internet — to load ads and download themes/wallpapers

We request only the permissions needed for these features. If we ever add a sensitive permission (such as Notification access), we will request it with a clear in-app explanation and your consent, and use it only for the stated feature.

5 Children's Privacy

This app is intended for general audiences and is not directed at children under 13. Because the app serves ads, it should not be used by children without parental supervision, consistent with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and Google Play's Families policy.

6 Data Retention & Deletion

Customization data stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the app. To request deletion of any data held by our third-party providers, or for any privacy request, contact us at the email below.

7 Changes to This Policy

If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date. Changes take effect upon posting.
